How to create consistent character storytelling videos in just 5 minutes! Generate character vlogs with one click!
I recently discovered an AI storytelling tool: OpenArt. It allows you to create Hollywood-quality, consistent character stories in minutes. What once required a team of professional artists is now within reach of everyday people.
Here, we’ll talk about how to create character vlogs, a popular video genre on social media platforms. Character consistency on OpenArt has undergone a major upgrade. Now, you can simply enter a two-word prompt to generate a story video. This feature is perfect for casual entertainment and allows you to quickly create a bunch of short videos.
Open openart.ai and you’ll see the brand new homepage. It’ll ask you what you want to create today. Click the “One-Click Story” tab to enter the story generator page.

It first asks you to choose a character. We can use any character trained on OpenArt, as well as some other characters provided by OpenArt. I’ll choose the example character, Teddy.

To demonstrate how simple it is, enter the prompt: Teddy is playing a video game in the bedroom.
You can also choose the video’s aspect ratio, either horizontal or vertical. You can also select different background music; I’ll choose automatic selection for now. We’ll talk about advanced settings later, but for now, I’ll stick with the defaults. Click “Create Story” and it’ll begin generating. You can always go do something else; the generation will continue in the background.

While waiting, take a look at the preview edit. This is what we’ll end up with. After the story is generated, you can fine-tune it in an online video editor. After all, AI’s results are unpredictable, which is both its charm and its drawback. But don’t worry, we have a solution.

There are a lot of things I’d like to change, for example, there’s almost no gaming-related content in the entire video. Looking at this clip again, the controller seems to be stuck in the PlayStation. There’s also a funny thing: there’s a PlayStation model that looks like a cross between an Xbox and a PlayStation.
Now let’s see how to fine-tune it. Enter the editor and select a clip you’re not satisfied with, such as this one without the game elements. You’ll see the prompts for this clip, including both video and image prompts. I’ll only change the image prompt.
To maintain the overall consistency of the video, I’ll leave the description of the environment unchanged. I’ll have the bear look at the game screen. I’ll regenerate the image, but I’m still not satisfied, so I’ll adjust the prompt again.
Now it’s much better. Use this image to generate a new video clip. The original prompt said the camera should move slightly upwards and the subject should turn their head, expressing sudden surprise. I changed it to have the bear turn their head and look at the screen, which is showing a shooting game. Much better.

The left panel of the editor is the asset library, where you can view video and image assets and upload different music clips. If you’re not satisfied with the background music, you can now upload a narration, and it should be automatically generated in the future.
On the right is the generation panel, where you can generate images and videos as before, and adjust the speed and volume. At the bottom is the video editing timeline, where the unsatisfactory clip has been replaced by the new one. We can review the story on the timeline.

This can basically be posted directly on social media platforms like YouTube, TikTok, etc. By sticking with this character, you can build an engaging channel and maybe even add YouTube YPP to generate advertising revenue.
Using consistent characters to create cohesive stories and channels is a trend these days. We’re all familiar with Mickey Mouse, SpongeBob SquarePants, Shrek, and even Barbie—they’re all essentially animated characters with the same style. What once required massive teams and creative talent is now possible with AI, giving us ordinary people the opportunity to create original characters and digital assets. And maybe even help us realize our dreams!
