What It Is: AutoGen is an open-source framework from Microsoft designed to help developers build collaborative systems composed of multiple AI agents. It allows different AI agents (e.g., a programmer, an analyst, a designer) to collaborate through conversation to complete complex tasks together.

How to Use It: Developers define the role, capabilities, and conversation style of each agent using Python code. When a task is assigned, these agents will autonomously communicate and divide the work through a “dialogue” to complete the task.
